Using our purpose built paint room, incorporating a CADRAM paint system, we can supply painted glass products in any RAL or BS Colour. We generally use two types of glass for painted products and these can be can be either annealed, toughened or laminated.

Standard Float Glass – this has a natural green characteristic which comes from the Iron content in the glass. This green characteristic becomes more visible in thicker glass. This glass is fine for use with darker colours of paint.

Low-Iron Clear Glass – this has a much lower iron content and therefore is a much clearer, crystal like, glass. This will provide a more superior finish when painted and is particularly important if glass splashbacks need to match thicker work-surfaces, as there is less of a difference in colour between glass sizes in Low Iron glass.

As well as providing an extensive range of colours a number of finishes can also be achieved, such as:

Sparkle – a glitter is added to the colour to create a glittery finish.

Metallic – this gives a slightly more reflective sheen to the colour by adding a metallic pigment to the paint.
